What Makes Our Semaglutide Weight Loss Program Different?

Our Holistic Mind/Body Approach Will Help You Take the Weight off — and KEEP it off.

We know that losing weight is an important first step to achieving optimal health.

But what happens after you lose the weight is just as important — perhaps even MORE important — than the initial weight loss.

Studies show that over 80% of people who lose weight will gain it back. That can be a disheartening statistic, but it doesn’t have tao be.

At the offices of Forum Health Las Colinas, we believe that good health encompasses mind, body, and soul.

Losing weight isn’t just about looking better in your clothes — although that’s a nice side benefit. It’s far more important to reduce the health risks from chronic diseases so you can live a longer, happier, healthier life!

That’s why we’re so excited about our new Medically Supervised Weight Loss Program!

This comprehensive and tailored program includes:

  • full lab testing — including insulin resistance testing,
doctor going over weight loss plan with patient
We tailor your semaglutide weight loss plan to your precise situation, and we’re here for you every step of the way.
  • body composition measurements,
  • a 90-day prescription of semaglutide or tirzepatide,
  • consultations with your provider before and after your program, and
  • visits with a highly trained, knowledgeable health coach.

The health coaching aspect of this program is crucial to your long-term success. So many things can cause weight gain, including sleep, stress levels, and psychological triggers.

Your health coach can help you recognize which factors may have contributed to your weight gain and can give you specific advice on how to deal with those factors.

Plus, your health coach will provide nutritional advice based on your situation and lifestyle preferences.

Certainly, you’ll learn what foods are most healthy for your body. But there’s so much more to the picture.

We Help You Develop Healthy Lifestyle Habits

Our program includes health coaching to help you develop healthy, sustainable habits that will help you keep the weight off.

By developing healthy habits while you’re going through our 90-day Medically Supervised Weight Loss Program, you’ll be much better prepared to keep those habits when you complete the program.

And we’re not just talking about eating habits. This may include:

  • Guidance on how to improve your sleep, as lack of sleep can be a major factor in weight gain.
  • Stress-reducing actions you can take each day, as stress can increase fat storage (particularly belly fat).
  • Helping you recognize any emotional or psychological triggers that may cause you to overeat — and tips on how to deal with them.

Your health coach has worked with many patients on this program and can answer your specific questions and provide tailored advice to help you.

How Semaglutide or Tirzepatide Helps You Take the Weight off

Patients on the Semaglutide Weight Loss Program typically see a weight loss of 1 to 3 pounds per week. However, that can vary; patients who have more weight to lose can see greater results.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide imitate a naturally occurring hormone called GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1), which your body produces after you eat. GLP-1 makes you feel full and also improves your body’s ability to regulate blood sugar levels.

Semaglutide and Tirzepatide have been called weight-loss game-changers. They’re not a stimulant like other weight loss drugs, such as phentermine — so they won’t affect your heart.

GLP-1s also don’t have many of the side effects of other weight-loss medications, such as dry mouth, restlessness, insomnia, dizziness, and headaches.

The most common side effect of GLP-1s is nausea, but we take proactive measures to ensure you go through the program with little to no nausea. And many people experience no side effects.

Because of this, semaglutide (or tirzepatide) helps you eat less and can also help reduce insulin resistance. Insulin resistance can be a source of metabolic syndrome — and virtually every chronic disease.

An Affordable Approach to Sustainable Weight Loss

GLP-1s are all over the news these days, and for a good reason: they’re safe, and they work. And you may have heard that these medications can be expensive, but this isn’t the case with our program.

We use the generic drug version and have it formulated at a compounding pharmacy and trusted partner. This helps us keep the costs down and pass the savings on to you.

Plus, since our program is a holistic approach to sustainable weight loss, the cost over time will be far less — because this may just be the last weight loss program you ever have to do!
